Hi, I’m Jo, founder of Kynfolk and previously a co-founder of ThinkingPeople. I have 25 years’ experience in intercultural training and have enjoyed building cultural agility in a number of sectors including higher education, health, tourism and sports. I was born and raised in the UK but have had the opportunity to work and train around the world in China, South Africa, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda, India, Thailand and Australia. This, and working in incredibly diverse organisations and communities within the UK, has given me incredible first-hand opportunities to enhance my own intercultural learning.
THREE FACTS ABOUT ME
I have four pet chickens: Aethelflaed, Lagertha, Tavernier and Henrika
My favourite food is egg and chive jiaozi, boiled not fried. I mean I’d eat fried but boiled means you get the soup after!
I’m not good at heights but once sky-dived over Queenstown, New Zealand. I’m still afraid of heights but it was a blast.
